Painting Holidays
Manzac D'En Bas

Painting Holidays

These are popular holidays and are for small groups interested in en plein air painting in beautiful locations.   There is ample opportunity for walking and photography for partners too.   All encouragement is given and help when needed.   Perfect locations to totally relax and unwind far away from the madding crowds.

FRANCE - MONZAC D'EN BAS - 30th Sept to 7th October 2012

This holiday is now full.

This is a wonderfully relaxing painting holiday in a restored farmhouse with 3 gites, owned by an English couple, Giles and Louse Nevill.   Spectacular views overlooking the Pyrenees, home cooked food and local wine, swimming pool and comfortable beds ensuite.  What more could you ask for?   We are taken to villages and towns nearby with bridges and rivers and hills and very very old houses !   Something for everyone.   For more information please contact me.

 COURSES

2012

Autumn Term starts Monday 10th September for 12 weeks.    Monday afternoons from 2 pm to 4 pm and evenings from 7 pm to 9 pm.       Cost £65 per 10-week course.   £7.50 for individual sessions.    Held in St. Michael''s church hall, Tetbury.   Please contact for available spaces.

My classes are in small. relaxed and friendly groups and are mainly on watercolour and oil techniques, although other media are often used.  I arrange my classes in 10 session courses which are held 3 times a year - Autumn, Spring and Summer- in order to leave the school summer holidays free.  A Summer course may be organised if numbers make it possible.   The Spring course is from the second week in January to late March, the Summer one is from May to  July and the Autumn course from the second week in September to the beginning of December. There is often break in the middle of each course to coincide with the schools'' half term holidays or for painting holidays.

Demonstrations and Workshops
Sidmouth

Demonstrations and Workshops

Demonstrations are usually 2 hours long.   Watercolour and Oils are normally mediums of choice.  Price on application.    I give a demonstration painting a scene of something seasonal with tips and ideas along the way.   Any particular ideas from groups can be discussed.

Workshops are longer in duration - normally starting in the morning and going on into the afternoon with a lunchtime break.     They are excellent occasions for artists to really get down to a piece of work and experiment with different techniques.   Price on application.
